How is a body prepared for cremation?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\nAfter the funeral home has picked up the deceased, they will keep the deceased in a cool, temperature-controlled room at the funeral home. Embalming is not required for cremation, although some families request it.<\/p>\n\n
