How to close a Pinterest account of someone who died?

Don’t have your Loved One’s Pinterest account login information? Don’t worry.

As everyone knows Pinterest is a social network that serves to share images of many interesting topics.

If you do not have access to your Loved One’s account

If you do not have your Loved One’s account information (username and password), please contact Pinterest immediately at the following link https://help.pinterest.com/en/contact.

Be sure to provide:

• The full name of your loved one.
• User name.
• Email address associated with the Pinterest account.

If you have access to your Loved One’s account

If you have login information AND access to your Loved One’s email account, follow these steps to cancel the Pinterest account:

• Please log in.
• Click in the upper right corner and select “Settings”.
• Click on “Account Settings”.
• Select “Close account”.
• Select a reason why you are closing the account and click “Next”.
• Click on “Send e-mail”.

Now verify the email address with which the Pinterest account was opened. An email will be sent to confirm that you wish to close the account permanently.

NOTE: It will take 14 days for your account to be permanently closed.
