What are the most economical ways to bury a loved one?

The death of a loved one is a shattering event, whatever the reason and whatever the circumstances. However, the death of a family member that has occurred unexpectedly, not only breaks our lives, but also leaves us unbalanced due to the expenses we will have to incur for the wake.

When a loved one passes away unexpectedly, it can be difficult to find a way to pay for burial expenses. However, there are ways to save money in these difficult times.

One of the most economical ways to bury a loved one is to use a direct cremation service. This type of service does not involve a traditional funeral or wake, but focuses on the quick and respectful cremation of the deceased. Direct cremation services are usually much less expensive than other types of funerals and burials because they do not involve additional services such as embalming or the purchase of caskets.

Another way to save money when burying a loved one is to opt for an inexpensive casket or even choose a cardboard alternative. Cardboard caskets are often much less expensive than traditional wooden or metal caskets and still provide dignity to your deceased family member.

Finally, you can also look for plots at local cemeteries. Many local cemeteries offer discounts to those who purchase multiple plots at once, so it is worth considering if you have other family members who need to be buried in the future. If you can buy several plots in advance, you may be able to get a better price for the overall burial.

In general, there are many options available for those who need to find inexpensive ways to bury loved ones after an unexpected death. From direct cremation services to discounted burial plots, these options can help ease the financial burden of saying goodbye during this difficult time.

Simple cremation is easy and more economical

After the painful moment of the sudden loss of a loved one, we must go through the ordeal of dealing with the funeral service. The costs may fall so unexpectedly that we will not be able to afford them comfortably, therefore, simple cremation is the simplest and safest option.

Moreover, even the costs for our company’s simple cremation service are very economical for everyone.

There are a number of issues to consider when choosing a cremation service. Let’s see what are the points to take into account when facing the irreparable loss of a family member in an unexpected way.

    • Analyze all costs provided by the various funeral services.
    • Make clear the prices and in which cases you would be incurring additional costs.

What are some things not to do when mourning? Financially speaking

What not to do when mourning

During bereavement, it is important to consider financial decisions and expenses. Here are some tips to help you manage your finances during a difficult time:

    • Avoid making large purchases or investments. It may be tempting to buy something expensive to deal with the loss, but this could put you in debt or cause financial stress later on.
    • Do not borrow for funeral expenses unless absolutely necessary. Funeral expenses can be very high, and borrowing money can add more stress to an already difficult time.
    • Be cautious when dealing with life insurance companies or other organizations involved in the death of your loved one. Be sure to carefully review all documents before signing any agreement.
    • Do not make any major changes to your estate plan or will without first consulting an estate attorney. This could have long-term consequences if not done correctly.
    • Refrain from drinking alcohol or taking drugs to cope with the pain, as this may impair your judgment and lead you to make poor financial decisions.

  • How do you talk to your parents about their funeral arrangements?

How do you talk to your parents about their funeral arrangements?

As we know, death is an inevitable part of life. As difficult as it may be for us to talk and think about, most of us will have to make funeral arrangements for our parents. When this moment happens, we will surely want to honor every last detail of his wishes after his death.

Although it pains us in the depths of our souls, there will be a series of questions we must ask our parents before their departure:

    • If you want flowers: Which ones and what kind?
    • Whether you wish to be buried or cremated.
    • If he wanted to be cremated, where would he put his ashes?
    • The music you prefer to be played at that moment.
    • Or what type of funeral or service you prefer.

Most people do not see death as part of our lives. Nor do we analyze the expenses that will be generated by our deaths, which will be borne by our loved ones.

How much pain it would spare us and how much money we would save our loved ones if we planned our burials and bought our plots while we are still alive, right?

However, on most occasions this does not happen and it is we ourselves who have to take the reins of the conversation to plan for this terrible moment that we will all have to face.

Cases of conversation about funeral arrangements

Cases of conversation about the organization of a funeral.

For these cases you have two ways to approach this conversation: directly or indirectly. In both cases, the tone of the conversation should not go out of the channels of relaxation and the elucidation of a fact that will concern us all.

Let’s take a look at some cases:

    • Direct Way: This way is to tell your parents that, as uncomfortable as it may sound, you must establish the guidelines for the time of their departure. Discuss the type of service they prefer and the ways they would like to be reminded of it. Explain to them that our only wish is to know that, when this happens, we will be incurring the details they would have wished for.
    • Indirect way: In these cases, one of the ways to break the ice is to talk about situations that other families have experienced. In which, not knowing what the parents’ wishes were, the loved ones did not know if the funeral service, floral arrangements and so on, were correct. This point allows us to open the conversation to find out what our parents’ wishes are.

Once we have broached the topic of conversation, it is important that we listen to every detail that is discussed. Surely, and as much as it pains us, our parents have already pre-established convictions and desires or also some ideas that we have not thought of at all.

We will not be saying anything new if we state that none of us will get out of this world alive. Death is part of life, having a conversation about our wishes at the moment of how we want to carry out our own funeral or that of our parents, will allow us to fulfill our will until the last moment.

However, what could or should be a normal talk can sometimes be made difficult by how scary we know that moment will be. But if we know how to initiate that talk, we will have overcome the most difficult moment than breaking the taboo of death.

  • How to return to work after a death?

How to return to work after a death?

The death of a family member is one of the most powerful experiences in life. The first thing people do is reject the news. Time passes and one begins to accept that our loved one is no longer with us.

The next few days your brain begins to remember the important moments and one realizes how great the loss is. When one begins to accept the reality of the death, we move into the grieving phase.

The one that comes after a loss

In the mourning phase, it is very likely that you will feel a void in your life. It is normal to give up many things and neglect other people you love in your life. Some will fall into a momentary depression that will depend on each one of them.

Grieving is one of the most difficult phases. It is at that very moment when you have to deal with funeral homes and arrange a funeral for your family member. All of this in a short amount of time makes it really stressful and can put a lot of financial pressure on families.

Returning to work after a death

Returning to work after a death

We all handle grief differently, there is no right or wrong way. Naturally there is no set time limit in which a person overcomes pain. This is an individual process where you can help yourself with different people, books or methods; just remember that no one else can do it for you..

Many of the people in your circle will understand your loss and support you at this sad time. But remember that you can only miss a couple of days of work.

    Overcoming loss

When a person is in a depression, how can he or she return to work? It is a time when we feel empty and question the value of life without our loved one, but in reality this is normal (at least for a while), but understand that time will bring you through your grief. And the only way to overcome it is to fight it.

The grieving process is different for everyone, but there are ways to help you heal faster:

    • Visit the grave of your loved one.
    • Talk about your pain with a friend.
    • Go to therapy with a psychologist.
    • Read some books about grief.
    • Organize a memorial service for your loved one.
    • Helping a Civil Association that his relative liked.
    • Making an altar.
    • Allow yourself to feel the pain.
    • Be patient with the process. Don’t be pressured by what others tell you.
    • Allow yourself to cry.
    • Try to maintain your normal lifestyle.
    • Eat well and exercise.
    • Avoid excessive consumption of alcohol or drugs.
    • Forgive me for all the things I did not say.
    • Prepare for holidays, birthdays and anniversaries without your loved one (decide whether you want to continue certain traditions or not).

Remember that Boinita is a Simple Cremation Service without a Funeral Service with the guarantee of the best price and service.

  • How do I dress for a funeral?

How do I dress for a funeral?

What to wear to a wake?

Here are some things to consider when dressing for a funeral.

The tradition at many funerals used to be to dress entirely in black to represent grief. Today, more leeway is given for the attire you wear to a funeral, as many people want a more cheerful send-off.

    Basics of dressing for funerals

For men, a classic dark suit and tie is usually a safe choice.

Women’s clothing follows similar rules as men’s, such as a modest dress or pants and a blouse, is usually ideal.

How close are you to the family? If you had a close relationship with the deceased then you should dress more formally if the occasion permits.

    Which event are you attending?

If the funeral ceremony is traditional in a church, for example, you will want to dress more formally than if you were attending a wake or a celebration of life.

Dress with comfort in mind: If you are arranging a funeral, you may spend much of the day standing around talking to people and going through your own grieving process.

    Consider your footwear

You may be on your feet more than expected. While high heels may be formal, you wouldn’t want to take them off or walk around in pain all day. Flat shoes or boots can be another good option and much more comfortable.

    What colors to use?

While you are no longer required to wear only black for ceremonies, you will still want to wear dark colors to pay your respects to the family and avoid standing out during the funeral.

    Dress children like adults

If you decide it is appropriate to bring your children to the wake, then you will also want to dress them formally.

What not to do with funeral attire

What not to do with funeral attire

    Do not ignore hair habits

As with exotic colors and outfits, you may want to avoid extravagant hairstyles.

Do not wear shiny jewelry or accessories

When it comes to going to a funeral, it’s always best to be serious and respectful, so consider smaller jewelry.

    Do not wear flip-flops

Some types of open heels may be appropriate for a funeral, but never wear beach shoes such as flip-flops and shiny sandals.

    Summary

When it comes to choosing clothing for a funeral, focus on your own comfort and ease, wear respectful colors and choose shoes you can wear all day. The more comfortable and secure you are, the easier it will be to focus on what really matters, honoring the person who has gone and being with friends and family.

  • What is the Cheapest Way to Bury a Loved One?

What is the Cheapest Way to Bury a Loved One?

Losing a loved one is difficult under any circumstances. However, if it is sudden it may be more difficult. Not only does the impact have to be processed, but also an unforeseen cash outlay has to be assumed.

When looking for the most economical way to bury a loved one, many people think first of traditional burials. However, this type of farewell can be financially difficult. When it comes to laying your loved one to rest, direct or simple cremation can be more cost effective and also offers more flexible memorial options.

Even the most economical way to bury a loved one can be expensive.

The least expensive traditional funeral option is an immediate burial. The remains of your loved one are collected, transported to a funeral home while the medical death certificate and death certificate are obtained from the Civil Registry, and then taken to the cemetery for burial.. This process can already be costly because it includes transfers, permits and the casket.

An immediate burial does not include the cost of a grave. If your loved one has not yet chosen a site and has not paid for it, this is an additional cost.

These are some examples of cemetery prices in some cities in Mexico:

An inexpensive grave in a public cemetery starts at approximately $5,000 pesos and the price can vary greatly depending on the location. For example, the average price of a grave in a private cemetery is $40,000 pesos. After purchasing the space, the cost of casket placement, plaque and maintenance must be added.

If you lose your loved one suddenly and are on a limited budget, you may want to consider a less expensive funeral arrangement.

Immediate burials are more urgent and a memorial service should be planned fairly quickly. This can put a lot of unnecessary pressure on families, who deserve the flexibility to plan a meaningful and inexpensive farewell on their own time.

Cremation is Simple and Economical, it is the cheapest way to bury your loved one.

Cremation is simple and economical, it is the cheapest way to bury a loved one.

Cremation is an efficient and less expensive way to care for your loved one’s remains after a sudden death. Your loved one is picked up, all necessary permits are processed and the remains are taken to the crematory. The ashes are returned to him a few hours later in a beautiful wooden urn. That way, you can take your time to find a burial option that is to your liking, or memorialize your loved one in another way such as a gathering at your home, scattering the ashes at sea, or keeping the urn at home.

When looking for a direct cremation service, you should choose a provider that offers:

    • An economical initial cost.
    • Transparent pricing. Some cremation providers add additional costs (these additional costs should be discussed in a transparent manner).
    • Complete attention to the family. Your cremation provider should be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you navigate the entire cremation process, from the initial paperwork to picking up your loved one and delivering their ashes.
    • Your loved one’s ashes are returned to your home. After cremation, you should be able to have your loved one’s ashes delivered directly to your door in a timely and safe manner. That way, you never have to leave the comfort of your home.
    • Flexibility to plan a farewell in your own way and time. Simple cremation gives families breathing room to plan a service that is both economical and meaningful. The ashes can be buried, scattered or kept at home.

Simple cremation is the least expensive way to bury your loved ones. It is done with respect and gives you and your family time to find the most personal burial option.

The right cremation provider takes grieving families through a simple process while reducing the financial burden of a sudden death.

  • Advice on baby loss and miscarriage

Advice on baby loss and miscarriage

    Pregnancy loss and miscarriage

Just a warning before reading this post: the subject matter and content we are discussing in this article are difficult. We provide answers and information in an attempt to destigmatize pregnancy loss. If you are dealing with the loss of a baby, our heart and support is with you.

Did you know that more than 10% of pregnancies end in miscarriage? However, the issue has been largely secret. If we want to change the way we talk about miscarriage, the name itself should be changed. After all, the negative connotation of “miscarriage” falsely suggests that a woman has done something wrong.. Below we will answer some questions about pregnancy loss and what happens after the loss of a baby.

    There is no “easier” miscarriage.

This is a loss. While some would say it is easier if it is within a few months, there is no such thing as an “easy” miscarriage. Yes, you will have had less time to develop a connection with your baby, but nonetheless, you will have felt the joy of watching him or her grow. If it is before, it is likely that you did not tell many people and, therefore, you are probably suffering on your own or with your partner.

It’s hard when you keep the secret of your pain. In addition, a late-stage miscarriage comes with its own pain and challenges. It is difficult to have to spread the sad news as many are excited about the baby and many of their items have already been purchased.

My boyfriend or husband is also grieving

Many assume that this is a grief felt only by the woman, since she was the one carrying the baby. Men are in a very difficult situation here because they are not only trying to comfort their partner, but they are also experiencing the loss. Joyfully anticipating the arrival of a new baby is not an exclusively maternal emotion.

    “My body failed me.”

Many women believe that their calling in life is to have a baby. All too often, when a miscarriage occurs, the woman not only grieves, but also feels guilty.. Doctors usually do not know what happened, but one thing is certain: the woman did not “lose” the baby.

It’s more complicated than people think

Because this is still a taboo subject, painful details are not talked about. These are some of the moments they were not prepared for:

    • Having to go through labor just to expel a lifeless body.
    • Returning to work and having co-workers who don’t know you are suffering.
    • Struggling to be happy for other pregnant women during this period.
    • Bereavement while having a hormonal process.
    • The wear and tear they may have on your body.

Another baby does not replace the one that was lost

A child with a healthy life does not replace the pain of loss. In fact several moms often found themselves comparing their babies to the unborn. Especially during the vacations they would think about the child they lost and what it would have been like at the time.

Questions about miscarriage and pregnancy loss

Questions about miscarriage and pregnancy loss

    What is a miscarriage?

A miscarriage is defined as a baby that does not survive beyond 20 weeks gestation. Some miscarriages occur on their own, while others are induced with a medical procedure.

    What is a stillbirth?

Fetal death is defined as the loss of a pregnancy after 20 weeks gestation. The reason for this specification is that it is believed that after 20 weeks, a baby could survive.

Should I have a funeral after a miscarriage?

This is entirely up to you and may depend on how far along you are in your pregnancy. Some people prefer no ceremony at all, while others want to be with family at home.

Will I be able to see or hold my stillborn child?

Usually, after delivery, you will be given time alone with your baby. Many find solace in taking photographs or collecting their fingerprints.

Note: As with a miscarriage, after a stillbirth, you may be asked to authorize tests to determine the cause of death.

Should I have a funeral for my stillborn baby?

Depending on the state in which you live, how far along the fetus was, or how much the fetus weighs, you may be required by law in your state to report the death to the Registrar of Vital Statistics and have a medical certificate of death prepared. While how you choose to honor your baby is up to you, in some cases, the law will require you to contact a funeral home.

Once you have met the legal requirements, the decision to honor your baby with a funeral is a very personal one. For some, the closing of a ceremony or religious service may help in the grieving process.

Can I honor my baby with a full funeral?

If you choose to have a more elaborate tribute for their stillborn, anything that can be done for an adult can also be arranged for a child’s funeral. For example, you can have a full religious service, cremation or a simple gathering.

Can I get help paying for my baby’s funeral?

Some funeral homes offer families who have lost a baby some type of price reduction. And you can get financial assistance from Social Security or DIF in your community.

What should I consider before planning my child’s funeral?

Obviously, this is a difficult time but we urge families to think before burying a baby in a cemetery. We say this because we often cannot predict where we will live for the rest of our lives.

We advise parents to consider cremation so that if they move at some point, they can take the remains with them. Remember that you can also bury cremated ashes in a cemetery or garden, or scatter them at sea or simply keep them at home if that is something that brings you peace.

Although most families today choose cremation services, they may opt to use a cemetery in the city of San Luis Potosi. They are built as a monument and enclose the burial space of a person. The bodies are stored under or above ground in a defined space called a crypt.

They can house one coffin in their interior space or several crypts (burial compartments) can be built inside to contain the remains of all the members of a family.

One positive aspect of a cemetery is that it protects your loved ones from the elements. Initially cemeteries were built as a way to commemorate those in power as kings and queens, today they are built for any family.

Cemeteries can be private or public. If you wish to bury the body of your loved one, a burial in a cemetery is called entombment.
